Areco Steel
Whistleblowing – report misconduct
In order to promote a good working environment for our partners and employees, Areco has set up a whistleblowing channel where you can report and provide information about irregularities such as ongoing crimes, unethical behaviour or corruption. This may concern things that have happened, are happening or are at risk of happening.
You can also blow the whistle on accidents, abuse of power or other things you wish to report.
Through our implementation, you can choose to remain anonymous, and we are also subject to a prohibition under Swedish law that forbids us from investigating your identity in any way. The purpose of this protection is to ensure that you do not suffer any reprisals after blowing the whistle. By blowing the whistle, you are guaranteed and protected against reprisals thanks to current legislation. This means that you cannot be punished for reporting things that are important to you, your colleagues, people in general and to us as an organisation and
employer.
We want to give you, as an employee, former employee, prospective staff member, business partner, consultant, subcontractor or intern, the best possible protection and solution. We have therefore chosen to make our whistleblowing channel available through the external company Whistlesecure. Thanks to this, we do not store any personal data about you when you choose to remain anonymous.
By going to https://whistlesecure.com/areco/ you can submit your whistleblowing report around the clock, completely anonymously. The service is available in over 70+ languages and has support for people with disabilities and any visual impairments.
Do you not wish to remain anonymous?
You do not have to be anonymous. If you wish to blow the whistle and give your name, you can send your audio recording to the email visselblas@areco.se. You can also book a meeting with your HR manager.
We have appointed a group
To handle all whistleblowing cases with the highest possible quality and care, we have appointed an internal group that also has the support of external lawyers and solicitors when needed. The purpose of this is to always be able to act correctly and promptly.
